OBJECT ART AS EXPANDED LANGUAGE

At KUU, the art object emerges when jewelry ceases to be a limit and becomes a starting point.

We explore new scales, functions, and territories without abandoning the essentials: time, matter, and presence. This work draws from living techniques and traditions, which are honored and continued from a contemporary perspective. They are integrated as a language to conceptualize the object from a different place: more special, more structural, more contemplative.

BEYOND THE JEWEL...

Our art objects are born from the intersection of contemporary thought and living artisanal masteries.

Here, technique is not displayed; it is integrated.

The object does not decorate; it occupies, dialogues, endures.

Each piece is an investigation into form, rhythm, and structure. An exercise in translation between human gesture and formal decision, between material memory and conceptual projection.

The artisan heritage —especially the Wixárika— is not transferred literally. It is interpreted with care, respect, and contemporary rigor, allowing knowledge to remain alive without being fixed to the past.

COLLABORATIONS AND NEW SCALES

KUU's universe of art objects is built in dialogue with artists, architects, and designers from different parts of the world.

We seek collaborations where technique is a meeting point, not an aesthetic resource.

From these intersections, sculptures, installations, furniture, and unique pieces emerge, carrying KUU's language into new dimensions: from the body to space, from the intimate to the architectural.

Each project maintains a clear premise: to work from an awareness of the origin and the responsibility of form.

An open invitation

Object art at KUU is an expanding practice.

An invitation to think of matter as active memory, technique as language, and the object as presence.

We are open to collaborating with creators who share an honest pursuit: to go beyond form and work from the essential.
